Helping clients navigate unexpected events is one of Susan M. Nash’s specialties. With her deep knowledge of taxation and a specialty in estates, trust and gifts, Sue is able to take complex issues and break them down into manageable steps for her clients. Whether it’s a complicated business transaction, researching a technical issue, or working with an estate executor, she supports clients in their decision-making while also determining how to best minimize tax liabilities.
Sue is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Master of Business Taxation Program. Her broad tax law knowledge is sought by clients, accounting professionals and the law community. Estate attorneys rely on Sue for her experience in trustee consulting, tax research and compliance. Her expertise is valued on estate planning teams and in complex estate tax matters. Sue loves to problem solve and finds her greatest rewards in the people she works with and the friendships made.
Sue is an early riser because there are horses to feed! A born and raised Minnesotan, she lives on a farm west of the Twin Cities where she rides and shows reined cowhorses. If there were an extra day in every week, Sue would spend it riding. Sue says her biggest accomplishment is raising her three children. She has six grandchildren who spend time on the farm, learning the ropes from grandma.
